Fizzy’s a refreshing take on cards, columns, and kanban.

Sure, there are plenty of apps out there to help you track issues, ideas, bugs, and small projects. You might have tried a bunch already. But Fizzy? It’s different. Intentionally different.

We designed Fizzy to be fast, simple, colorful, and downright enjoyable so tracking work actually feels good again.

Now, let's get started!

<p><details> <summary><strong>Watch the Fizzy tour and walkthrough here!</strong></summary><div style="text-align: center;"></p><iframe width="1120" height="630" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/CpZ4j_z_o_k?si=2hT1ai66ce-KuYpj&rel=0" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe></div></details></p>

Getting Started

After logging in, you'll land on the Activity screen. You'll see what’s been added, updated, and closed, with the most recent updates at the top. The activity feed updates in real-time, with gaps indicating no activity.

![Screenshot of a user's Fizzy Home page. There are three columns showing what was added, updated, and closed today. There are pinned cards and notifications stacked on the left and right corners of the bottom navigation bar.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-home-with-pinned-cards-and-notifications-H2WxUi.png)

By default, you'll see the activity for everyone's cards from all the boards that are <a href="https://help.fizzy.do/3/fizzy-help-guide/61/people-permissions#change-who-can-access-a-board”target="_blank">available to you</a>. You can switch to specific boards by clicking the **all boards** link and selecting the board from the drop down menu. Click the **everyone** link to see the cards from a specific person.

![Screenshot of a user's Fizzy Home page with the all boards and everyone links outlined in red.png](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-home-with-all-boards-and-everyone-outlined-in-red-Of3xrV.png)

There may be times where you'll want to view activity from multiple boards at once. From any board activity page, click the board link at the top, and select the ones you'd like to view from the drop-down menu.

![Screenshot of the board drop-down menu with two boards selected.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-multi-board-selection-o3F8fP.png)

You can zip back to Home from any screen by hitting <code>1</code> on your keyboard or using the <a href="https://help.fizzy.do/3/fizzy-help-guide/42/the-fizzy-menu"target="_blank">Fizzy menu</a> (<code>J</code>).

Navigating around Fizzy is fast and simple. Click Fizzy at the top of the screen or hit <code>J</code> on your keyboard to pop open the menu.

![Screenshot of a user's activity. The Fizzy menu option at the top is outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-menu-outlined-jNrdQe.png)

The menu is accessible on every page and lets you see the cards that are assigned to you, ones you've assigned to others, boards, tags, people and more. Use the <a href="https://help.fizzy.do/3/fizzy-help-guide/69/keyboard-shortcuts"target="_blank">keyboard shortcuts</a> to move around Fizzy even faster.

![Screenshot of an open Fizzy menu.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-menu-11-2-25-n6wpfb.png)

If you're working in multiple Fizzy accounts, you'll see an **Accounts** section at the bottom of the menu. Click to expand the section, then select the account you want to switch to.

![Screenshot of an opened Fizzy menu with the Accounts section outlined in red. There are two other accounts listed in that section.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-multiple-accounts-DiObAo.png)

It's easy to find things in Fizzy. On the bottom of every page, you'll see any cards you've pinned on the left, any new notifications you've received on the right, and a search function right in the middle of the two.

![Screenshot of a user's Fizzy Home page. There are three columns showing what was added, updated, and closed today. The Search option on the bottom navigation bar is outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-home-with-pinned-cards-and-notifications-with-search-outlined-in-red-Ug3M3C.png)

To search Fizzy, click **Search** from the bottom menu or press <code>K</code> on your keyboard to bring up the search bar.

![Screenshot of a user's Fizzy Home page. There are three columns showing what was added, updated, and closed. The Search Fizzy bar is open on the bottom navigation bar.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-home-with-search-opened-rXGf9G.png)

Boards

Boards organize your <a href="https://help.fizzy.do/3/fizzy-help-guide/48/adding-assigning”target="_blank">cards</a> and help you follow the progress. Cards can be used to track issues, bugs, ideas, features, projects, or even chores — anything that needs to get done.

Cards

Getting things done just feels better with Fizzy — and you’ll do it all using cards.

Cards are simple and have everything you need to make progress — add steps, post comments, assign the card to someone else, and more! We've raised the bar and you'll really feel it after creating your first card.

<div style="text-align: center;"><iframe width="1120" height="630" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/uf077zOhFUo?si=tVcs6zqLsv_76067&rel=0" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
***
###Add a new card
Similar to boards, we've made it easy to create cards. You can make a new card from the <a href="https://help.fizzy.do/3/fizzy-help-guide/41/home”target="_blank">Home Screen</a> or from a <a href="https://help.fizzy.do/3/fizzy-help-guide/45/adding-viewing”target="_blank">board</a> —  click the Add a card button or hit <code>C</code>on your keyboard.

![Screenshot of the Fizzy Home screen showing recent activity in three columns. The Add a card button outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-add-a-card-from-column-5fwHbH.png)
***
###Add a step to your card
Some tasks require multiple steps. Click the **Add a step...** link located on the bottom-left, above the card's creator. When you're finished typing, hit <code>return</code> (Mac) or <code>enter</code> (Windows) on your keyboard to save.

![Screenshot of a Fizzy card with the Add a step... option outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-add-a-step-eF42fX.png)
***
###Assign a card
When collaborating with others, you can assign cards by clicking the "Add a person" icon located on the bottom-right and select the person from the pop-up menu.

![Screenshot of a Fizzy card with the Add a person icon outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-assign-a-card-UFMeVm.png)

###Tag a card
Save time by grouping related cards together using tags. For example, an electrician can open the Fizzy menu, select the **Electric** tag, and they'll see all the electrical needs across all boards in a snap.

Add a tag by clicking the "tag" icon located at the top of the card or by hitting <code>T</code> on your keyboard. This'll open a menu where you can add a new tag, select an existing tag, and remove a tag.

![Screenshot of a Fizzy card with the Add a tag button outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-add-a-tag-wqOlzM.png)
***
###Edit a card
You've got three options here: click the card title to open the text editor; click the **Edit** button; or press <code>E</code> on your keyboard. Any of these actions will open the text editor.

![Screenshot of a Fizzy card with the Edit button outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-edit-button-qvuWzn.png)

Save your changes by hitting <code>CMD + Return</code> (Mac) or <code>CTRL + Enter</code> (Windows) on your keyboard or clicking the Save changes button.

![Screenshot of a Fizzy card with the save changes button outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-edit-a-card-save-changes-12-2-25-8kTwvi.png)
***
###Edit or delete a step
Changing a step is effortless — click the step, start typing to make changes, and hit the checkmark to save. Or, click the trash icon to delete it. That's it.

![Screenshot of a Fizzy card with the Add a step... option outlined in red after it's been clicked by the user. The current step text is highlighted to indicate it is editable. A green check mark and trash icon appear to the right of the highlighted text.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-edit-or-delete-a-step-8D7p43.png)

Referencing another card is easy in Fizzy. Simply type a <code>#</code> in the comment section or in the card description and a list of your cards will appear. Continue typing the card number or scroll through the list and click the card you're referencing. A link to that card will appear so you can navigate to that card right away.

![Screenshot of a card comment with one card mentioned and the card option menu opened] (https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-mentioning-a-card-HQMGTq.png)

###Move a card
As work progresses, you'll move it to a different column so you can quickly see its status on the board. When looking at a board, simply drag and drop a card between columns to move it.

![GIF showing a user click and drag a card into another column on a board.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/move-to-new-column-v2-pmRMZP.gif)

Already have a particular card open? Click a column from the list on the right to move it.

![Screenshot of a Fizzy card with the column options outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-move-a-card-from-a-card-5Kp7eB.png)

Sometimes, you'll want to move a card to another board. To do that, click the board banner on the top-left and select the new board from the drop-down menu.

![Screenshot of a Fizzy card with the card's board banner outlined in red. The Move this card to... drop-down menu is opened showing all available boards to the user.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-move-card-to-another-board-Uzv1Ly.png)

When a card is moved to a different board, it goes to the **MAYBE?** column of the new board. You can see this in action below:

<div style="text-align: center;"><iframe width="1120" height="630" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/M0Ye572BzFw?si=kn58jJEJmWALEMKd&rel=0" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>

###Prioritize your card
You can instantly see your more urgent cards by turning it into a Golden Ticket. Click the "ticket" icon at the top left and your card will turn gold and float to the top of the column.

###Get notified
Stay focused by watching just the cards that are relevant to you. Click the "notify" icon to watch a card. You'll then receive notifications when there's new activity there.

![Screenshot of a Fizzy card with the Notify icon outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-watch-this-card-12-2-25-SWmm5l.png)

###Pin your card
Access your important cards by pinning them. Click the "pin" icon on any card and it'll move it to the Pin stack located on the bottom-left. You'll always see your pinned cards there no matter where you are in Fizzy.

![Screenshot of a Fizzy card with the pin icon outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-pin-this-card-6oVGBj.png)

When you click the Pin stack, your cards will expand and you'll see "pin" icon located to the right of the cards — you'll click those to unpin cards.

![Screenshot of a Fizzy card with the Pin stack expanded. The pin icons located to the right of each pinned card is outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-pin-a-card-PpPeMU.png)

You can see pinning in action in the video below:

###Close a card
There are a few ways a card can be closed:
- Manually by <a href="https://help.fizzy.do/3/fizzy-help-guide/50/moving-prioritizing#move-a-card”target="_blank">dragging it</a> to the DONE column on a board
- Clicking the Mark as done button within a card
- Pressing <code>D</code> on your keyboard while viewing a card

Or do nothing and the <a href="https://help.fizzy.do/3/fizzy-help-guide/62/auto-close”target="_blank">Auto close</a> settings will move the card to the **NOT NOW** column automatically.

![Screenshot of a card with the Moves to "Not Now" in 353 days if there's no activity auto close setting outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-auto-close-card-settings-12-2-25-jLKBF0.png)

###Delete a card
If you're an administrator or the card's creator, you'll see an option to delete your card under the comment section near the bottom of the page.

![Screenshot of a Fizzy card's comment section the the Delete this card link outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-delete-this-card-qM1dIB.png)

Fizzy comes beautifully designed _and_ lets you personalize your cards with your own background images. Click the photo icon located on the top left and select an image from your device. Use the same button to remove the image.

![Screenshot of a Fizzy card with the Remove an image icon outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-remove-background-image-uYRTj0.png)

Organize your cards quickly using Fizzy's filters.

From any board, use the filter at the top to see just the cards that are relevant to the work you're doing now.

Let's say you only want to see Golden Ticket added by a specific person — click the "filter" icon located at the top to expand the filters.

![Screenshot of the all boards screen with filter icon outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-all-boards-with-filter-icon-outlined-17m7Xh.png)

Click the **Status filter** and select **Golden**. Filter it further by clicking the the Added by filter and selecting a person. Now, you'll only see all the Golden Tickets added by that person.

 ![Fizzy custom view example.png](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-custom-view-example-6c3tQw.png)

<div style="border-left: 4px solid #F59E0B; padding: 10px; background: #FEF3C7; color: #1F2937;"><strong>Note 📝:</strong>The <strong>Status</strong> filter will be set to <strong>Open</strong> by default when using the filters so you'll want to change that when filtering through <strong>Not Now</strong> and <strong>Done</strong> Cards.</div>

Columns

Instantly see the status of your cards with columns. By default, boards start with three columns: NOT NOW, MAYBE?, and DONE.

Cards are created in the **MAYBE?** column. From there, you'll make the decision to work on it or move it straight to the **NOT NOW** column off to the left.

![Screenshot of a Fizzy board with 3 columns. The MAYBE? column is expanded while NOT NOW and DONE columns are collapsed.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-3-column-board-nRAFaV.png)

###Add a column

You'll likely need other columns to represent your cards' statuses. To add a new column:
1. Click the little <code>+</code> to the right of the **DONE** column.
2. Name the column.
3. Pick a color.
4. Click the **Add column** button.

<div style="text-align: center;"><iframe width="1120" height="630" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/P6eUsX_PhJU?si=7HGBxMAxfoyy54mp&rel=0" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>

###See all cards in a column
Expand and collapse columns by clicking the column. When a column is expanded, you'll see a "grid" menu icon located on the top-right of an expanded column. Click that to see all the cards in a column.

![Screenshot of a expanded Fizzy board column named CONFIRMED BROKEN with the outlined grid icon in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/screenshot-of-a-expanded-fizzy-board-column-named-confirmed-broken-with-the-outlined-grid-icon-in-red-2BcgsR.png)

![Screenshot of showing all cards in the CONFIRMED BROKEN column.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-see-all-cards-in-a-column-view-7eDmy5.png)

You can edit, move, or delete any column <a href="https://help.fizzy.do/3/fizzy-help-guide/56/adding-a-new-column#add-a-column”target="_blank">you've created</a>.

With a column expanded, hover over the column, and the more options menu <code>•••</code> will appear on the top left. Open that menu to make your changes.

![GIF showing a user opening the more options menu and selecting the Move to the right option.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/move-column-UBPJh4.gif)

When a column is deleted, the cards within will move back to the **MAYBE?** column automatically.

###Changing Auto close settings

The default Auto close setting is 30 days, but administrators can change this for all cards in the account or for cards in a specific board. If you're the one who created the board, you have the power to change the Auto Close setting for that board.

To change the default Auto close setting for the entire account, click the number of days on the dial.

![Screenshot of a Fizzy account settings page from the admin view with the Auto close dial outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-change-auto-close-setting-4woPiT.png)

To override that global Auto close setting, administrators or the board creator will access the <a href="https://help.fizzy.do/3/fizzy-help-guide/46/board-settings”target="_blank">board settings</a> by clicking the "gear" icon located to the top-right of a board and change the number of days there.

![Screenshot of a Fizzy board from the admin view with the Gear icon outlined.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-board-settings-gear-outlined-o0ouoj.png)

![Screenshot of a Fizzy board settings from the admin view with the Auto close section outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-admin-board-settings-with-auto-close-outlined-EQU8fC.png)

Boards with cards that are nearing the Auto close date will show a bubble at the top of the column.

![Screenshot of the Auto close column bubbles.png](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-auto-close-column-bubbles-881R5F.png)

To see the inactive card, you'll <a href="https://help.fizzy.do/3/fizzy-help-guide/57/viewing-cards”target="_blank">expand</a> the column and click the card with the Auto close bubble.

![Screenshot of an expanded column with a stale card outlined in a red box.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-closes-in-one-day-card-OWSRX1.png)

![Screenshot of an inactive card opened with a red outline around the Auto close bubble.png](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-closes-in-one-day-open-card-Jg8C5T.png)

Any activity on the card will reset the Auto close countdown — posting a comment, changing the assignee, moving the card to another column or board, etc. will keep the card from moving to the "Not Now" column.

Your profile is where you'll see everything about you — your personal information, the cards you're a part of, what you've been up to in Fizzy, your login link and passkeys. You can also export the data of all cards you have access to here.

 ![Screenshot of a user's My profile page.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-my-profile-3-24-26-DGRNrR.png)

To get there, you'll open the <a href="https://help.fizzy.do/3/fizzy-help-guide/42/the-fizzy-menu"target="_blank">Fizzy menu</a> (<code>J</code>) and click the **My Profile** option located in the **Settings** section.

![Screenshot of an opened Fizzy menu with the My Profile option outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-menu-my-profile-12-2-25-og11Tg.png)

Fizzy will notify you when you're assigned a card, @mentioned, or when a comment is posted in a card you're watching.

Your new notifications will be stacked nicely on the bottom-right of every page, just opposite of your pinned cards.

![Screenshot of a Fizzy card. The collapsed notification stack located on the bottom-right is outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-notification-stack-collapsed-9eg8AV.png)

Click the stack to see all of your new notifications. You'll also see options to head to your notification settings, previously read items, and clear your notification stack.

Click the **See older items** option to access all notifications, including your previously read ones.

![Screenshot of a Fizzy card. The See older items option in the expanded notification stack is outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-see-older-items-mxGqi6.png)

If you see some previously read notifications that you don't want to forget about, pop them into your notification stack by clicking the "unseen" icon next to the notifications you want to mark as unread.

![Screenshot of the Notifications page. There are no new notifications. The Mark as unread icons located tot he right of previously read notification are outlined in red.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-mark-as-unseen-cA58WU.png)

You can also access your notifications from the All notifications option in the <a href="https://help.fizzy.do/3/fizzy-help-guide/42/the-fizzy-menu"target="_blank">Fizzy menu</a> (<code>J</code>).

You're in charge — choose what, how, and when you're notified.

There are three places to access your notification settings: the **Notifications settings** in the <a href="https://help.fizzy.do/3/fizzy-help-guide/42/the-fizzy-menu"target="_blank">Fizzy menu</a> (<code>J</code>); the "gear" icon on your Notifications page; or the **Settings** option in **Notification** tray on bottom navigation bar.

Here you can choose which boards you're notified about, enable push notifications, and decide how often you'll receive email notifications.

![Screenshot of the Notification settings page.](https://help.fizzy.do/u/fizzy-notification-settings-jzP95K.png)

Push notifications are controlled by the browser you're using. If you're not receiving push notifications, click the **Not receiving notifications?** button and follow the instructions that open below.
